SP2- lost help

Since I installed SP2 I have lost "start" "help and support"
I have tried reinstalling but message tells me that computer has newer
version of Windows. I have looked in Kelly's Korner etc to no avail.
I can fin the file helpctr.exe but I presume it is not where it should be.
Can anybody assist me. Its hard to get help when you cant access help??
