Using the SP2 CD you have on hand, I would suggest you
install SP2 at your earliest convenience.

| For some reason, SP2 is no longer showing up as an option for download on the

| that T.V. Media program, there have been no SP2 blocks installed on my

| My chipset is Intel 2578 rev 2. and circuit board lists as Dell Corp. 0G0728
| I list all these items to see if any of them have anything to do with the
| Prescott issue and SP2. I still have the original BIOS that came on my
| computer.
| Does anyone have any idea why it does not show as an option for me to
| download? I have the SP2 CD which would be what I would use if I decide to
| install it. Also was wondering if I really need to update my BIOS. My
| computer is working so well now and I am extremely meticulous in maintenance
| with antivirus and anti-spyware as well as keeping cookies cleaned out. Maybe
| I should just forget about SP2 as so many are having problems. Thanks for
| any help
