SP2 problems with media player

Since downloading SP2, I cannot run videos from movie trailers etc. The media
player icon keeps disappearing from the desktop. Re-downloading media player
9 doesn't seem to help. Any clues as to which settings I need to change?

Same problem here, downloaded twice; nothing happens.
Any MVP solutions?

Today I solved the problem. It was Kerio blocking.
