Part B would not run.

Windows won't start without the hall.dll
You can only , in my opinion, do two things:
use the recovery console ( technical: you have to copy and
replace the hall.dll file)
or
do a repair installation.
Try again using your disks.
You'll have to boot from the cd or the dvd.
if the same thing happens insert B in the dvd and see if
it works. you cannot boot between A & B. if b won't start
in the dvd then boot from the dvd and try a&b there.
