You may want to see if your date/time is correct. All you have to do is right
click on your clock and choose adjust date/time. If the date is not correct,
ie it's set for a number of years in the future, then the computer will think
that the certificates of certain programs to be invalid and won't run them.
Ran into that problem on my computer where the date was set to like 2940 or
something like that, just way past the valid dates of certificates.
