Help. i just updated windows. i'm running Win2k and I have IE v6.0 and since
the update i have noticed that my homepage is different. It is reset to:
http://www.eurostart.nm.ru/flash/on

When i do Tools>Internet Options> I see the buttons to change it, however
they are grayed out so i cannot change my homepage. What should i do? Has
anyone else had this problem?

I am going to try to uninstall IE and put back the version that came with my
WIN2k disk... hope it works...

I had the same problem and found out it wasn't a windows issue at all,I had
locked the home page in spybot s&d. Check your spyware programs and see if
you somehow locked it with out realizing it.

Hi

See http://www.dougknox.com/, Win XP Fixes, Fix Internet Options Restrictions

This is not caused by any Microsoft update, your IE is most likely
hijacked (or if you have SpyBot Search and Destroy installed, it can
have locked it)...
