sp2 shuts down network

When I download sp 2 it shuts down internet access and my network. Not only
can I not access the net from the pc I am updating but also from both
notebooks with sp 2 already installed. Any ideas?

the same thing has happened to me i loose my internet some times it takes a
hours or a couple of mins but my connection fails and cant shut down had my
computer trying to shut down for 2 days. Have to press reset. when i shut
down i have to close nonresponding programme. every time its the connection
tray

i also cant update cus of error

and i get a blue screen. windows recoverd from serious error. report it and
it says cause by a driver. all this from the last update i got.!!!!!!

QUESTION, should i reinstall windows and not update it? any help please
