This sounds like the same problem I'm having. The system freezes after about
an hour. I haven't had any problems before this. I upgraded to sp3 (at least
I thought that was what it was 11-1). That's when all my problems started.
These are free upgrades, but we may have to pay Microsoft $95 for tech
support to fix it.
