SP2 Still won't work

ive got the error code 0x8007F0CC, i saw at the other topics how to fix it. i
tried both ways but still it doesn't. is there a other way? i need the
service pack to instal some other drivers i realy need.

Which two ways was that - don't want to waste time repeating what you have
tried already, do we?
There have been many methods, most of which are variations of each other.
Some have been quick and short and some have been long and involved, and
have been built upon over the last two to three months.

file. The Service Pack will not be installed.

Error Code:8007F0CC happens if you have changed your "boot.ini" file.

Have you created a custom boot screen, or have you used software such as Style XP to
alter your boot screen?

If you are using Style XP upgrade to the latest version. If you altered the
"boot.ini" file yourself and made a custom boot screen, just replace "boot.ini" with
the backup you made before editing it.
