I am the same problem . I installed the SP2 in spanish . I am the windows XP
spanish
wiht kit for Catalonian . What is the problem ? .

I have the same problem too, with identical configuration: Spanish version
WindowsXP, home edition, with the catalan patch.
Ten days ago i get the same problem with ALL the windows updates (ERROR:
8007F001).
In my opinion the windows update installer downloads wrong version patches
( i think english version).

I downloaded full SP2 in correct language. But, it still complain language
is not correct.

It seems that non-English version of Windows XP downloads the update in
incorrect language. Microsoft always asks us to find the correct patch, but I
don't think I can install the patch after I download it.
I suggest that Microsoft study about the problem, since many users,
including myself, have complained about it.
