SP2 update Sound does not work after Stand By

After installing WinXP SP2 my sound does not work when I
come out of stand by. I have to reboot to get the sound
to work again. I updated drivers-no help (using
SoundBlaster Audigy LS sound card) Did not have this
problem prior to SP2 - Does anyone have any ideas?

I also have no sound on my Soundblaster Audigy 2 soundcard after installing
SP2. XP tells me that it cannot locate any soundblaster soundcards on my
machine, even though I can see them in device manager, and it shows them as
"working correctly". I also received the "IRQ_not_less_or_equal" error once
that seemed to be related to this same problem. Any help anyone can give is
much appreciated...I want my sound back!

Add me to the list of those who lost their soundcard after installing SP2.
Is there anyone who actually resolved the problem that can help?

Me too - Audigy 2 not recognised by the drivers but shown on the system and
all appears well
