      10-15-2004
trying to download SP2 but it tells me it failed. sometimes due to low
virtual memory , or no explanation at all
help

It stops during the verifying download. So what does that mean
I've downloaded into my computer , but trying to download it into my
daughters computer. for some reason it doesn't like her computer. I have a
Dell 4500 dimension, she has a 4200 deminsion.. my other daughter has a
toshiba and it downloaded itself

Why don't you just burn it to a CD and install it on your daughter's
system ? The error message you cited , low virtual memory, may be
the cause, there may be spy|ad|malware on the system, etc.
