SP2 Zapping Outlook Express

On two ocassions, I have tried to install the SP2 update and it does
something funky to my email account (Outlook Express). I try to log into my
existing email account and it will not recognize my user ID. The only way I
have found to recover my emails is to uninstall PS2 and restore my computer
to a previous date. Microsoft told me months ago that they should have a fix
for this but I hate to try it again. Too much trouble if it doesn't work.

Did you re-enter your User-ID and password and verify they are correct?
Did you verify with your ISP all settings are correct?

SP-2 has not changed and most likely never will change.
Any change will have to be elsewhere.
