sp3 and amd processor

I was told there would be a problem with my computer crashing if I try to
download sp3 due to the fact that I am using AMD does anu\yone have any
information on this. I do not waht to download if there is a possible
problem. Thanks

That's only true if you have an HP or Compaq computer with an AMD processor.

Not completely true, I have a Compaq with an AMD processor and had no
trouble downloading and installing SP3 and I didn't stop any of my security
program either.
