I am absolutely mind-boggled that this sort of information is available
through forums such as this and not as a pop-up or service message from
Microsoft at the time of downloading, or as an signable prerequisite to
downloading updates that may effect the performance and future capabilities
of the computer being updated.
I have had similar problems in the past when downloading "recommended
updates" from Microsoft, who then charge to fix problems there own updates
cause to their own Operating Systems and I see this as outright incompetence
on the part of the developers. I'm going to opensource operating systems,
I've had enough.
