Hi all--
Just wanted to say that some of us installed SP3 on some of our PCs
(mostly Dells) running our analytical instruments at work, with few
problems. We were worried about it breaking Agilent Chemstation
software, which communicates between our instruments and the PCs. That
still works great.
One minor problem I had on a HP Compaq (Intel) is that it broke
Diskeeper. It said it couldn't start the MSC (snapin). I looked in the
event logs, and it said there was a problem with dfrgsnap.dll
The HPs are set up a little bit differently than the Dells -- they have
a very small C: partition with only 8 GB space, where Windows, and all
the programs reside, and the rest of the disk (D

is for collecting
analytical data (that's the way Agilent wanted them configured). I have
only 1.7 GB free on C:
So far, that's been the only problem that we've noticed. Just thought
I'd pass this along for info.
