Microsoft highly recommends installing this update. "

This comes up on Windows update and Microsoft update.
I do not have anything set to show beta downloads.
Anyone?

For that to happen you must have downloaded and installed:
WindowsXPSP3RC2.exe - this program sets your system to respond to
WindowsUpdate that you need SP3.
