I keep getting an error message

"There is no enough disk space on C:|WINDOWS|$NtServicePackUninstall$ to
install SP3 Setup requires 4 add'l megabytes of free space, etc, etc."

I have some 17 GIG of free space available.

I am running XP on an iMAC & using Boot Camp.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Greetings, If you go to the MS web site and search SP3, you will find info on
how to prepair to download and install SP3. You will also see info on error
codes. Your problem is discussed there. MS recommends running Disk Cleanup,
located in Start/All programs/Accessories/System Tools to clean out the trash
and gain some disk sace.
Good luck

I have done all that.

Re-downloaded SP3 a second time in case the first download was bad.

I do not get an error code number, just the message about that one folder
needing more space.

The MS site's SP3 FAQ info also says to use Control Panel's ADD/DELETE to
remove uninstalled update. The SP3 update does not appear in my ADD/DELETE
list.

I had the same problem. Update your Bootcamp to version 2.1. Update was
smooth afterwards.

I downloaded the Bootcamp 2.1 update into my XP.

Tried twice to run it but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Comments on the Apple site say it takes a while to run. I gave it 8 hours
last night.
