Space requirements for SP2

I believe I read that you need 1.8 Gigs free on C: to install SP2.
I've got 2.4 Gigs free which should be enough, but am wondering how
much I will have free after the install? I assume that 1.8 Gigs is
needed to do the install, but also would assume that after all is
done, that it wouldn't take up that much space? I don't really want
to be left with just .6GB free on C:
