Space Station Screensaver Missing Components

I am at a loss to fix this problem.
Using the Space Station screensaver in Windows XP MCE I used to see an
astronaut floating in space with a backdrop of stars, the rotating earth and,
of course, the international space station.
Now all that I see is the astronaut floating on a sea of black; no earth, no
stars, and no space station.
Where should I look?
