speakers

I have same Problem also, I just update my speakers software and it gave me
the 80070103 problem and
now the speakers are not working it says no Audio Output Device is installed.
i have also HP Pavilion labtop.
Please help

Hi I take it that you have used windows optional update for your sound as I
did a few days ago on my compaq pressario laptop
I found that running HP update provided the correct update for my sound
which corrected the problem
This is the second time this has happened to me so lesson learned I won't
install optional updates for things that are working fine already
