"Obi198",
That is very interesting. There is a technology called "Wake On LAN," which
allows a PC to be "booted up" from a remote computer over the network, but I
admit that I have never heard of a PC "booting up" simply because someone
turned on the speakers."
I'll research a bit more and get back to you. In the mean time, is it
possible that your computer sleeps until there is movement of the mouse? If
so, then the movement of turning on your speakers might be enough to move
the mouse sufficiently enough to "wake" the computer.
Sincerely,
Pat Walters [MSFT]
