Rightclick a Command Prompt icon on the Start menu, and click 'run as
administrator'
Run the command
start explorer
Use Explorer to delete the folder.

You make have to take "Full Control" of the files and folders.

Add Take Ownership to right-click menu in Vista:

I hate to show my ignorance here, but my Vista Home Premium system is owned
by me, sits in my house, and I am the only user. If I don't "Own" all the
files on it, just who the hell does?

Thanx,

Buddha

according to MS they do...
but seriously, they make the files harder to access for security reasons,
that way it is a little bit harder for hackers to get into them.
but anyone with physical access to your machine can get the data, it will
just take them a bit longer.

All though all of these security measures are somewhat of a hassle, I a
glad they are there. It makes me feel better knowing that if someon
tried to comprimise my system, they would have to get around all o
these permissions and ect

Well, Microsoft, actually. You don't own Windows, you just
have a temporary license to use it.

While M$ may own the OS, I own the HDD and everything else that's on it.
Under your philosophy, I'd need Bill Gates' OK to delete an EMail.
