I'm getting this error in MSN Live Chat :
The following message could not be delivered because you have exceeded the
maximum number of messages per minute. Please try again later.

So what is the speed limit anyway?

Greetings Don,

It's changed several times so I don't have the specific values for you. If you've been
"flooding" or pasting large amounts of text you might see this.

I myself personally have only seen it maybe once or twice ever.

Greetings,

Did you just get this, like around 7:50 PM PST today?

This was a small server bug, cause I got this message as well.

Nope just normal chat with one person, first time I've seen it.

Hi,

Ah, fair enough, I wouldn't worry about it regardless unless it keeps coming up regularly.

from one WLM session on my PC to another, and it totally hung the other
session.

Hang on a few minutes and I'm going to try it with you.

Greetings,

Yes, this happened to me as well. I was chatting with one contact, and all
of a sudden, this arose. I didnt think that I went above the limit, and
actually, I was on appear offline, so this limit is usually not in affect in
this status, unless Microsoft changed their rules, and accidently made a
mistake in a possible change, which resulted in us getting that limit
message.

If it comes back again for no apparent reason, please tell me. Thanks.
