Hi Dilip

Enable the Advanced Performance option for the hard drives. Thi
tutorial will show you how

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/59...eed-boosts.htm

You might also turn off "Remote Differential Compression". Just selec
it in step 6 in this tutorial. It will show you how to do it

It's a known issue in Vegas that the resident troll and all around
idiot Frank will stand on a stack of bibles and pretend doesn't exist
in spite of there being in excess of a 500,000 articles on this vary
problem in Goggle searches.

1. wait for SP1 which should have a better fix then what available now

2. use another shell, almost anything is way faster copying
files than Vista is.

3. Try copying files from a command prompt.

4. If you can't wait try Hotfix KB 931770. It sometimes helps,
other times not.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931770

This is one of those weird Windows bugs that only impacts SOME
systems. So some fools (spell that Frank) will claim there is no
problem because they don't see it on their system.

hehehe...I bet you now really regret doing that in place upgrade install
of Vista business don't you?
You're just a fat stupid backroom accountant trying to pass yourself off
as a computer expert and a genius. Don't make me laugh! When in fact
you're just a fake, a phony and a real loser.
Oh, btw, most Vista users don't have the problem(s) with Vista you have.
Your google results that you keep lying about are all mainly duplicate post.
Grow up you little pig of weasel!

Not at all you clueless ****wit. I explained why I did an install in
place months ago. You too stupid to remember? Seems like it, so
instead you lie your **** encrusted ass off and pretend that is the
cause of slow copying. What a complete putz you always are.

You ignorant pile of pig ****, you have no idea how many people have
the problem or if they had the problem from the start with Vista
already installed or if they did a clean install. If you the moronic
**** for brains asswipe you are would have spend just a few minutes
researching the topic instead of spewing your usual hate you would
have learned ALL types of Vista installs have seen this problem
proving once again all you are Frank is a **** for brains ****wit that
gets off lying his **** encrusted ass off daily.

Funny isn't it? Frankie numbnuts won't be critical of little Richie
and little Richie won't be critical of Frank. Classic example of the
hypocrites you find infesting this newsgroup.

If I mention how Vista sucks with file copying the resident asshole
Frank will start throwing feces around like the clueless moron
everyone knows he is. However if some MVP not only admits what I said
is true but points to Microsoft approved updates that partially
address this very issue little Frankie numbnuts remains silent and of
course no MVP ever slaps Frankie down or calls him the liar he is.

I love to watch you hypocrites make fools of yourselves. Really I do!

Are you sure that this will speed file moving/copying up? It seems that
this is meant to actually speed things up?
