Spell Checking Hyperlinks

Unlike OE, when I copy & paste a link into a Plain Text message, it is not
underlined nor blue until it is sent. Therefore, I can't find a way to have
the spell check ignore the link. Any tricks or settings for this?

Thanks, RPM

Also unlike OE there is no option to ignore hyperlinks when spell
checking. So the link turning blue isn't the real issue.

To make a suggestion to Microsoft
Help -> Send Feedback (web)

True enough about the "blue", but with these options checked to ignore:

Words in uppercase
Words with numbers
Internet addresses

Both OE and WLMail does not include spell checking of a link when a new
message is in HTML, but in WLMail, it still checks the spelling if using
Plain Text.

Do you "really" think: To make a suggestion to Microsoft Help -> Send
Feedback (web) would actually make a difference in my lifetime?

Thanks for responding though. Appreciate it.

If you check spelling as you type, misspelling will be underlined.
If you do not check spell when sending, the messages sends.
What then is the problem?

Have you try that input the link by copy and then paste way instead type
input word by word? If you use the paste way, it may turn to blue
automatically.

After using a spell check with OE for so many years that did not check
spelling as you typed, and becoming used to manually checking the spelling
before sending, I have become used to doing it that way. The only "problem"
is with MS developers building programs that they like and not what the user
likes.

I will check the option to check spelling as I type and force myself to get
used to it.

Thank you.

It won't hurt to make a suggestion for changes.

I've talked with the developers and they say they read those. And the
more people who ask for something the more weight it has.

But there's no guarantee that they'll actually implement the requests.
