SPFPC SPFPRO SYS ERR when creating a new file after 885250

After an auto-update fitted 885250 (SMB message block security fix) I
could not create a new file in a folder on any network drive with the
SPFPC or SPFPRO text editors. The symptom was SYS ERR and when the
HELP key was pressed a to the effect that a system service failed.

I subsequently encountered a very similar problem trying to use
"save-as" with MSWORD.

Removing 885250 fixed both problems. Thanks to all those who went
before.

Are there issues with Q885250, under certain circumstances ? Thanks
