Splinter Cell 2 PT won't start

Hello everyone!!

When I start Pandora Tomorrow Singleplayer, I see the intro scene, I get to the Main Menu, create a profile, I click Start Game, then the loading screen shows up, but then suddenly my game crashes to my deskup with the message, "splintercell2.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

I've tried running it in compatability mode and as admin (even though my computer only has one account on it) and neither of those work. I've also (obvsiously) tried bringing all the settings to as low as they can get and it still doesn't work.

Right after I installed the game and right before I started it up the first time, it ran the diagnosis for my computer to see if it met the requirements. It said that everything exept my soundcard met the requirement. It said "NO full duplex sound card detected". But the music and sounds still play fine for the intro movie and the menues, so what's the problem?
Could some of you smart computer people tell me what I can do to get the game working please? Help would really be appreciated!

Uh... I know it's not very good to have to reply to your own post to try to get other people to reply to it... but that's what I'm going to do cuz nobody has posted anything in reply.
Please... any ideas?

OK. Not to be mean or anything, but the fact is that the three threads that I've started have never been replied to by anyone exept myself. Is that sad or what? Now I know there's a lot of people out there who haven't gotten answers to their quesitons either, and I'm not saying I have any priority over other people, but can't someone reply?
