I too cannot install this update after following the renaming procedures etc.
Is there some way to correct this problem by editing the registery or
otherwise reinstalling the xp updates? The error keeps surfacing with the
windows update feature and it is annoying. Any KB articles or assistance
would be appreciated. It appears I am not alone with this glitch. Thanks!
