hi. i am looking for a free spyware/adware removal tool. i have used the
free scans you can get when you search google. but they only scan. when my
system does an automatic scan, it comes up with ever increasing
adware/spyware found. i try to delete but not happening. have deleted
cookies and temporary internet files. anybody out there with any ideas would
be gratefully acknowledged. thanks

I'd never put that crap on my machine or the one that comes out every month.

All the more reason to warn people not to use a Beta product, especially
when there are other, tried and true, programs available that do a better
job.

Besides, it's never a good idea to let the wolf guard the hen house.

In my opinion, you ought not to trust in free programs at all,
especially when talk is going about your computer security. That's why
I use cheap, but reliable spyware remover
(http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing...privacyexpert/ ). To be
on the safe side, also I have Ad-aware and Microsoft Windows
Ant-spyware, but several times they weren't able to detect and delete
spyware as against Privacy Expert...
