% Why... If I don't have SQL Server running on any of my rigs, does MS
Windows Update keep showing I need to install 'SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4
(KB960082)' to be totally current and secure? %

I have made several atttempts to install this update and every time it seems
to hang @ 50% installed, and finally fails.

Hi Mark,

To determine the failure, could you provide me this log?
%windir%\sql2000-KB960082-v8.00.2055-x86-ENU.log

I got the message-SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (KB 96082) and when I tried
to download it said it could not be installed. But now I have a permanent
shield on taskbar and I have attempted to delete it to no avail.
