'SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 will not install

'SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4
(KB960082)' will not intall, I have no errors but it slows down my computer,
what needs to be done to have this update installed?

Be more specific. Are you installing this update manually
or via AU/MU?

If you are installing it manually your symptoms will be
independent of the distribution mechanism so you may
get better help from someone who has actually done the
install. Cross-posting to an SQL NG for convenience.
