Can Someone please tell me exactly what SQL is used for besides being used by
MS Visual Studio?
Is it an important program that is required so that everything else will
operate smoothly?
What is it's main function?
After being bombarded with 14 repeats of this download, (2 failed and 12
successful (?) )I uninstalled and reinstalled both SQL Server 2005 and then
the SQL SP2 (subject) I and thought I was sucessful.
However MS Update tell me I need to install SP2.
Main Questions above, do I really need it ?-
