SQL Server 2005 Express SP2 on Vista Ultimate

I get "Code 2B2F" when trying to install KB 921896. Does anyone have a
solution?

Details?

Hint: search for files which changed on the day of the update attempt
which contain the string 2B2F or 11055 (the decimal equivalent of that code.)
