Squares instead of names

When I log on to windows IE7,everything starts fine.Then,just as the page
starts to load I get squares at the top of the screen as well as in the
taskbar.If anyone can help my situation I sure would be greatful

Please try the IE7 group.
I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:

If you must use a web interface:
