My WMP use to play avi files with srt files, and now it won't since I
upgraded to Vista.
I presume this is because I had to install a Vista codec pack.

However, all is not lost, as Media Player Classic will play them.
IIRC I did have to reinstall MPC after I upgraded.

I have been absent from this newsgroup for a while, and so I don't know if
this has been discussed before.

Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.
