Standard User being 'Owner/Administrator' Issue

Hi:
Whenever I either install or uninstall softwares or such, one of standard
user names being as owner, although I am an Owner/Administrator. Also, in
order to not get PC/Vista confused, I deleted all Standard Users, leaving
only me, Administrator along with Guest, but it still does not correct it. A
deleted Standard User's name popping up as Owner whenever program-
installation, uninstallation and etc.

Any help on this, above would be truly appreciated.

Try right click on th
software>properties>security>advanced>permissions> change permissions.
Do not do this on the shortcut

You might try following the steps at

found this through a Google search for "change registered owner
vista". This was just the first result, and it looks like it covers
what you need.
