From Standby, I must click on an icon...

But that was NOT the case a week ago... wassup? How do I
go from standby to whatever I was doing?

This unit has no passwords.

Hi Frederick,

Control Panel/Power Options, in the left column there is a line at top about
'require a password on wakeup'. Select this, then click the line to change
settings that are currently unavailable. At the bottom of the dialog will be
an option to not require a password you can select.
