far from a dork. actually started out my career as one of those "unix guys"
you hear so much about... moved to Linux to develop applications in C soon
after. use windows on the desktop because, well, its better than any other
desktop OS out there.
think, for a minute, of the enormity of the task of not only developing an
OS, but having to develop it, market it, and roll it out where it will be
used on 9.99% of pc's across the planet eventually. then having to keep
countless thousands of companies happy at the same time... not to mention
the **** ants like yourself that also want to be made happy.
you need some business training before you can appreciate any of this. until
then, go play warcraft and complain that your video card doesnt yet have
drivers for vista
