Start/Explore hangs after loading current seet of updates

After installing the updates, Whenever I right mouse click "START" and then
"explore", the start menu opens and then it hangs. I end up doing a system
restore to remove the updates and things work normal again. I had six (6)
updates loaded so it must be one of those. Any help would be appreciated as I
want to keep my PC up-to-date. Thanks!

Mike,

I used the advice given to me by Mowgreen. All of the updates ran or were
installed, but KB908531. By installing them one at a time, I was able to
isolate the update that was caused the problem. My problem was the address
bar drop down would completely lock up. I would have to restore to an early
point. At least I have the majority of the updates. My post is titled
"address bar locks" up in this forum.

I also isolated the lock up problem to the same KB908531. I sent microsoft
an inquiry as to what to do but no results so far. It's nice to know I'm not
the only one with this problem.
