After installing the SBS automatic update and rebooting the server it would
not get past the windows startup screen, but goes very briefly to a blue
screen and then reboots. This was found to have occured with another server,
then a test was run with a new server where the SBS was load then the updates
were applied one at a time and the GDI update killed the server ... we've
tried everything and can not recover ... we have spent days loading and
updating our accounting data and it's all been lost unless we can find a way
to recover ... a backup had not yet been done.
