Vista Home Premium 32

This should be easy but I can't find the answer.
Under Users, I have 7 folders
Administrator (which is empty), All Users, Default, Default User,
IUSR_XXXX,LastName, and Public (has no Start Menu).

Default User - I can't even access this one - I get "Default User is not
accessible. Access denied."

For the other folders, when I try to access the Start Menu folder, I get
"Start Menu is not accessible. Access denied."
All Users|Start Menu
Default|Start Menu
ISUR_XXXX|Start Menu
LastName|Start Menu

To my knowledge, I am logged in as administrator - stand-alone home PC.
How do I access these users/Start menus?

I wouldn't worry about those accounts. They are used by windows only.

For example: the ISUR_xxx is for IIS.

First of all, you've got "Show hidden files" and "Show operating system files"
checked in your Folder Options. I recommend that you change these options to
"hide" instead. Doing this will prevent you from trying to access virtual
directories and generally making a Sad Mistake.

The Default User, All Users, and other directories which have a shortcut
arrow next to them are not "real". They are virtual directories called
"junctions" which are only there to provide backwards compatibility for
older software that expects these directories to exist. You cannot access
them which is why you get the somewhat misleading error message.

The Default user account is a real directory and is used as the template for
creating new user accounts.

So what are you really trying to accomplish? If you are trying to edit the
Start Menu for your own user account and for others, here are the locations:

The new location in Vista for the all users start menu is:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu.

You can click Start and then right-click All Programs and select Explore All
Users and get to the same location.

The user specific start menu folder is in:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Window s\Start Menu.

Then you can arrange things as you like.
