Start menu button

Every so often Vista wont let me click on the start menu button on the bottom
left corner, my windows keys on my keyboard didn't work either, the only fix
was to restart my computer. What should i do?

See what is happening "backstage" when this occurs. Possibly a program or
driver is failing. Look in Event Viewer for clues.

Start Orb>Search box>type: eventvwr.msc
When eventvwr.msc appears above, click on it.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to give you more specific advice based on
such a vague post. Try narrowing down your troubleshooting:

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

If the machine is clean, you can do clean-boot troubleshooting to see if
something running in the background is the culprit.
