Start menu does not work

Clicking on an item in the Start Menu (favorite, program, settings item,
etc.) just closes the menu and nothing else.
Any idea?

Hello Erik,

Sometimes just restarting the computer will clear this problem.

Doing a System Restore using a restore point dated before this happened
may help fix it.
