Start Menu Folder Access Issues

Why is it that on occasion the fold out menus for example Documents,
Pictures, etc. function incorrectly?

Specifically, the menu folds out but you can't actually click on any of the
files. If I try the start menu simply closes, as if I had clicked on the
background rather than the file. In addition, the file is not highlighted.

Its as if the fold out menu isn't actually there, but I can see the thing.

Only restarting the computer resolves the issue. It doesn't happen often.

One thing I noticed is that it SEEMS to happen whenever I am saving a file
to say "Music" that is being updated in real-time. It does not happen.
however, when I'm downloading a file.

Thanks in advance.

Hi romanom,

Not sure what is causing it, but I have seen this quirk on my system
few times also with x64 Vista Home Premium. Restarting works for me a
well.

I also noticed that sometimes in IE7 that a Favorites menu folder fol
out does not slide out open either. It will from the Start Menu
Closing and reopening IE7 solves this problem for me.

Weird quirks,
Shaw
