Start Menu (Right side) Broken Link (Pictures) VISTA

I recently discovered that when I go to my start menu, on the right side, of
vista, the Pictures link will not work anymore. All of the other links
(documents, music, games) work with no problem.
When I right click on the pictures link it only comes up with copy, rename,
and properties. Where as, all of the other links have many more options.
That being said, when I click on the properties in the Pictures I only get
the "General" tab and it is completely blank and I can't input any info.

Also, when I go to customize my start menu all of the other folders, etc.
are there to hide/show etc., but the pictures portion is no where to be found.
Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated.
Of course, I have put a shortcut for my pics on my desktop so that I can
easily get to them, but I would like to rectify the problem that I am having,
so that hopefully it won't happen again

Hi Roger

Check to make sure that your "C:\Users\(User Name)\Pictures" folder ha
the correct default location set for it in the registry. It should b
"%USERPROFILE%\Pictures" (no quotes). This tutorial will show you ho

You you right on the money. Worked the first time after
fixing. It was a little thing that kept bugging me. Now, I can live my
computer life in peace (for now)
