I'm migrating from XP to Vista ...

In XP , we have Start > Run

In Vista , I don't see Start > Run

Can I configure Vista to show Start > Run ?

If not , what are my alternatives ?

PS I find this really really annoying.

all you have to do is type run in the search bar and it will appear at the
top of the search .You can also find it in accessories along with cmd

Start/Run is located in the Accessories folder. Works like it always
did.

The alternative is Start\Search. Just as good as Start/Run and in
many ways better.

.... IMHO

Right click on the flag down left. On the Start menu tab, clic
Customize. Tick off Run command in the list

If you will stop complaining for a moment, just use Vista's Help and Support
from the Start menu. Type in Run in the search box. Vista's help will tell
you how to put the Run command on the start menu. Wasn't that easy? What is
so annoying about that?

Besides, as has already been pointed out, you may now use the "Start Search"
to do the same thing as Start->Run. Annoying is being told and not
listening.

Hi John,

Same as with XP, you can add it to the start menu (even in XP it's not there
in a default install, but people forget this) should you want to. Just like
in XP, use the taskbar properties to do this, but it's not necessary as you
can just type whatever you want to "run" into the "search" line - it works
the same way except that it does not keep a list of previously typed files
(registry MRU's).
