Starting with a blocked program

In a PC mag, I found a tip for starting a program
which Vista blocks.

The idea is to create a task in Task Scheduler,
selecting to start the selected program "when I log on".

Finally they say use msconfig or windows defender to
disable the program from starting with Windows.

I think this is the part I am getting wrong.

Currently, my program is trying to start, but says it needs
permission (from the other, Admin account) to start.

Would someone explain to an average user, how to
make the thing work properly.
Also it might be useful to know how to remove a task.

Thanks,
Miles
