Status Bar text missing

I have an annoying problem with my WINDOWS explorer status bar.
In some folders it works fine, showing the amount of files on the left side
and "Computer" and file size on the right side.
In other folders it only shows the amount of files on the left but nothing
on the right hand side not even the dividers between where "Computer" and
the file size should be.
If when in one of these folders I deselect and then reselect the status bar
in the view dropdown menu it will work as it should.
If I leave the folder and then return the text on the left is missing again.
Any help greatly appreciated

Billy
