Hey

My Call of Duty World at War via steam is not allowing me to create a
online profile. Everytime I do, I get error "unable to create onlin
profile". I got to where the profile are being create
"C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW \players\profiles"
and it does is create a folder called $$$ with bunch of config file
inside it. I tried copying all the items in the folder with same name a
my user name hoping name will show up my in game, but it still does no
show up. Instead it recreates $$$ folder with config files inside.

I also shut off firewall, anti virus and make sure folders ar
rewritable

Any solutions

Thanks in advanc

roac

I had a problem with COD4 from steam where it did not give me a cd key
therefore it would not let me join any multiplayer games. From the main
screen go into Multiplayer Options and click on the multiplayer key or cd key
option (can't remember exactly what it says) and see if your cd key shows up.

Either way I would uninstall COD5 then reinstall from steam, it fixed my
problem
